Morning service
“Sure-Footed in Trouble”
Psalm 23:4
I went up to the hospital this week to visit one of our church friends before a procedure. When I opened the curtain, the wife commented, “I thought you were hospital personnel because of the tennis shoes!” I responded, “You’d be surprised at the doors that these shoes open!” I have been wearing my tennis shoes more often these days as my attire has transitioned during the week to business casual. Many of my senior friends are discovering the comfort of “tennis” too. I have found them to be a lot more friendly to my arthritis as well as giving me more sure-footedness in inclement weather.
