“Is The Baby Real?”
Luke 2:1-14

Several years ago, I bought a book at the start of this holiday season. The girls were shopping at the mall and I needed some reading material to stay out of the way. I purchased John Grisham’s new little novel, Skipping Christmas. It’s about the hilarious consequences of trying to bypass the celebration of December 25. The story centers on a middle-aged couple named Luther and Nora Krank who are sending their only daughter, Blair away on a two-year assignment with the Peace Corps. Now they or shall I say, Luther wants to do something different with Christmas.
