You Can Go Another Way
Matthew 2:1-15

Some years ago, one of the great masters of popular folk-rock, James Taylor re-released his Never Die Young album in CD. There were some old favorites and some surprising and experimental selections in that eclectic mix of folk ballads. Home By Another Way was about the Wise Men, the Magi of Matthew 2. Taylor wrote: “Yes, they went home by another way... Maybe me and you, too, can be wise guys, too and go home by Another way. They tell me that life is a miracle, and I figure that they’re right, but Herod’s always out there. He’s got our cards on file. It’s a lead pipe cinch if we give him an inch, old Herod likes to take a mile... It’s best to go home by another way.”
