1 Timothy 2:1-4

How have you been celebrating your July 4th weekend? Mine started with a visit to the local flag store on south sixth. That is a fascinating place. It makes it easy to feel patriotic with flags all around! I especially noted a large gray flag with "One Nation Under God" in blue lettering. I pray this will always be true! I also wouldn't miss Lee Greenwood singing what many regard as the most recognizable patriotic song in Amerca, "God Bless the USA." I caught that blessing on Saturday Early Show on CBS. And then, where did you enjoy the fireworks? I still like mine on television... one half hour of brilliant blasts of color from Boston! That was my dose of Independence Day celebrating!
