“Why have you forsaken me?”
Mark 15:33-41
A young boy was listening to the Sunday School teacher tell about the cross. He asked, “Could we skip this part because it’s too sad. How about skipping it and get to the happy part.” A middle-aged adult woman said something similar, “I don’t like to talk about the cross because it’s too sad and depressing. I’ve got too much of that in my life already. I wish we wouldn’t talk so much about the cross.”
