“Can We Recover Joy?”
Psalm 137

We’re just a few weeks away from the season of cheer and the singing of carols like, “There’s a song in the air, there’s a star in the sky.” I look around and it certainly seems that there hasn’t been a “song in the air” of our country for some time now. We are embroiled in conflict in the Middle East on two open fronts and we are fighting in other places behind the scenes. The loss of life continues to tragically increase.
