"You Can Choose Gratitude!"
Genesis 50:15-21

Madeleine L’Engle, author of The Rock That Is Higher, tells the story of being in a bad automobile accident in July 1991. She spent several days in Intensive Care and a month in the University of California Hospital in San Diego. It was a lonely and painful time for her. Yet, she would write later of her gratitude…for God’s promises. She said that when she “looked at the bruised and battered matter of my body…I was grateful that I believe that matter matters, matters to me, matters to the God who made it, and who took it on when all Love came to us as Jesus of Nazareth."
