"Making Church a Priority"
Galatians 6:1-10

One of my favorite storytellers is Phillip Gulley who has written numerous books of homespun stories. In Front Porch Tales, this Hoosier writes about family values and relates the trouble families face today to the advent of the outboard motor. Speaking tongue-in-cheek, he says that men an who had been content before this invention to stay at home and build bird houses in the garage are now out on the lake on weekends.

Evening service

"What's God Like?"
Psalm 103

We like to keep some art supplies on hand for our grandchildren. They enjoy spreading a large coloring sheet out on the kitchen table, taking a marker in hand and then creating one of their own works of art for us to enjoy. Sometimes it is easier to draw a picture of what we are thinking and feeling than it is to talk to someone about those same inner emotions and thoughts.
