Morning service
“Do Life God’s Way!”
James 4:13-17
“Birds of a feather flock together.” Have you ever heard that? That phrase has been around since the mid-fifteen hundreds. You also hear or read this adaption, “birds of a feather fly together.” I think there may even be another rendition, “Birds of a feather feed together.” In our neighborhood we have this small lake that threads through Flaggland and one of the recreational activities for our grandkids is to go there and feed the ducks from a of loaf bread. We have had many and varied experiences down by the lakeside!

Evening service
"Living with Prayer and Praise"
James 5:13-16
William Law, a 17th century Christian mystic made a statement about happiness one time. He said, "If anyone would tell you the shortest, surest way to happiness and all perfection, he must tell you to make it a rule to yourself to thank and praise God for everything that happens to you. For it is certain that whatever seeming calamity happens to you, if you thank and praise God for it, you turn it into a blessing."
