“When the Cross Happens to You”
Mark 15:33-39
What happens in the final minutes of a person’s life before death can be difficult to watch. In some instances there is a reflexive rattling and labored breathing. While for others, it is simply a gentle and peaceful passing. I can say that to witness someone expiring can evoke a mixture of feelings… release and relief, apprehension and fear, loneliness and separation, and of course, grief and sadness.
