“Work and Serve”
Genesis 2:8-15

Tomorrow is Labor Day. In the 1880s this became a holiday to remember those workers of the labor and trade organizations. Today, I’m afraid this weekend is viewed mainly as the last holiday weekend of the summer. That’s too bad because we need to recover a biblical understanding of work and Labor Day gives us an opportunity to think about the blessing of work and retirement.
